Ol' Ugly continues to be one of the busiest country comedians in Western Canada. Word-of-mouth has him performing from 30 to 40 shows a year. These shows are anything from small private functions of 70 to 100 people to large variety shows and corporate conventions.

At present, Ol' Ugly is working on his fourth CD and the first of his Travelling CDs. These Travelling CDs are meant as entertainment for those driving those long boring highway trips as well as for friends to listen too when their conversation starts to lag.

His CDs are all Barnyard clean: no intentional dirt, but every once in a while some fertilizer will hit the stage that will paint a picture in your head. His hilarious stories and tales are told in the old way (think Red Skelton or Jerry Clowers). Remember that comical character that used to tell stories around your kitchen table or back porch?

Ol' Ugly ain't nothing special,

he just loves to make people laugh.

And laugh they do. They say some peed themselves in Kamloops, B.C. and he was the only non-singing entertainer to have ever had an encore at the

Maple Creek Cowboy Gathering.

Don't Mess With Old People

They think we're old an fragile, and maybe to an extent we are but, we didn't live this long by being stupid. Well I cant say my in-breds and friends did it by being smart either, but just maybe we done it by being devious or strange. Now fer instance, that picture there and yer thinking Ol' Ugly's trying to look cool. Well that ain't a cool look; that's a stunned look! And that's an evergreen club I'm holding and it's got most of the busted and sharp branches still on it. I was twirling it around and if ya see my hat ya can see it's kinda bent. If you're thinking This idiot bashed himself on the head, yer right! Now if you was out to do somebody some harm wouldn't you be thinking, Don't mess with that old guy cause he might do me as much harm as he's trying to do to himself.
