He has traveled throughout Western Canada performing at various Cowboy Gatherings in Pincher Creek, Stony Plain, Willow Creek Gathering in Stavely, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, and the Alberta Cowboy Poetry Trails End Gathering in Cochrane. Lloyd also organized the very successful Feedlot Ally Cowboy gathering in Strathmore this year. He also has and is, performing at special events like the Calgary Stampede, the Manitoba Rodeo Association Finals, the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site and The Red Lodge Guest Ranch.

Lloyd has started writing and arranging some of his own cowboy songs and is also setting some cowboy poetry to music. He is currently working on his first CD Songs of Sweat and Leather . Lloyd believes that through his music he can help keep the Cowboy Heritage alive and pass it along to the next generation.
