Trail's End 2009

The Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association
Is a group with amazing varied talent.
On September 2009 weekend in Cochrane
They staged an interesting event.

Open Mic presentations of music and verse
Saw participants put on a good show.
Some first time performers before that group
Were glad they decided to go.

Musicians' talents on instrument and voice
Entertained in their own individual tone.
Poets unable to carry a tune, nevertheless
Rendered rhyme to tickle the funny bone.

Crafts, books, etc. were on display;
Executive met with members to discuss plans
To take Association to new activity levels
In order to attract new fans.

Meals were served for patrons attending.
The Trail's End meet was a rousing success.
A repeat performance in 2010 is expected;
The ambitious bunch can no nothing less!
